  • 🚗🔍 AEK 25 – Shaping the Future of Automotive E/E Architectures   As we prepare for the upcoming Automobil-Elektronik Kongress on June 24-25, 2025, we are excited to engage with select members of our advisory board to gather their insights on the congress, key focus areas, and future industry trends.   Jutta Schneider, Director EE Infrastructure & Powernet at Mercedes-Benz AG, shared her perspective on what to expect:   🔗 What is your vision for the ideal E/E architecture for SDVs in ten years? “There is no ideal EE architecture. Many new players have only a few vehicles in their portfolio. The challenge is to operate EE architectures for mixed fleets of EVs and internal combustion engines. An SDV approach needs to take this into account. In general, there needs to be a move towards leaner and more flexible software architectures. European solutions are currently rather inflexible and slow. More standardised interfaces need to be agreed in the context of SDV.”   ✨ What topics or speakers are you most looking forward to? “In general, I am looking forward to the contributions from the OEMs, especially on the subject of architecture and the exchange with technical leaders in general. ”   📽️ Any memorable moments from past events? “The evening event where we all watched soccer on a big screen from beer benches – apparently organized by Mr. Schleuter.”   📢 What aspect of the event would you recommend to potential attendees? “The opening presentations on the first morning are definitely not to be missed (my personal highlight).”   🌍 What are the top challenges for the automotive industry in 2025? “The geopolitical challenges, the increasing complexity of requirements and regulations.”   🧧 How do you assess the geopolitical landscape, particularly China’s growing role in the automotive industry? “The need to adapt development cycles and products accordingly. This means that China-specific variants will be more important.”     💡 What are your thoughts on these topics? Join the conversation and let’s shape the future together at #AEK_live!
