We are proud to introduce our newest advisory board member, Torsten Gollewski, Executive Vice President of Corporate R&D, Innovation & Technology at ZF Group. With a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the automotive industry, Torsten brings invaluable expertise that will greatly benefit the 29th International Automobil-Elektronik Kongress (AEK). Since joining ZF in 2016 as Senior Vice President of Advanced Engineering, Torsten has been at the forefront of innovation, leading the System House for Autonomous Mobility Systems and overseeing the High-Performance Computer (HPC) product line. His recent appointment as Executive Vice President for ZF’s global Corporate R&D division underscores his leadership in shaping the future of automotive technology. Torsten's impressive background includes 15 years at AUDI AG, where he held various high-level positions in areas such as electrical engineering, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), automated driving (AD), and vehicle safety. He holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Electrical Engineering, a Master of Law (LL.M) focused on M&A, and an MBA from Henley Business School. With his extensive OEM and Tier 1 experience, Torsten is currently redefining ZF's corporate R&D strategy with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence, digital development, automotive software, and next-generation mechatronic systems across passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial applications. His insights and vision will undoubtedly enrich our conference discussions and inspire attendees to explore new frontiers in automotive electronics.
