    In the real estate industry, the cost of treating sustainability as just another box to tick is too high. Sustainability needs to be a core part of any investment strategy. There’s no alternative if asset managers want to preserve liquidity against environmental risks in the future. Alasco’s VP Europe, Anca Stefanescu, shares a take that cuts straight to the heart of the ESG conversation (hear more in the video below 🎥): 🎙️ “We cannot afford to separate sustainability from investment logic. We would do everyone a service if we were able to speak in terms of metrics — the results we are looking to achieve for a portfolio, an asset, or a fund.” The shift towards execution and measurement is what separates leadership from lip service.
