WISTA SWITZERLAND at the #FTCommodities Global Summit 2025 This week, we were inspired by FT Global Commodities Summit - key event bringing together leaders from across the trading industry. It was great to meet our WISTA board and members who actively represented the power of diversity: Tatsiana Vasilchanka, Maryana Yarmolenko Stober, Ewa Anselm-Jedlinska and Olena Isaieva, SCR® We were especially proud to see female leaders of our corporate members contributing as speakers. Julie Noller from SOCAR Trading was sharing her expertise and insights on the evolving carbon landscape. 👏 Seeing WISTA members voices on stage and in the room was a powerful reminder of the impact women bring to our industry. Despite advancements, workplace equality in Switzerland still has a long way to go. PwC’s Women in Work Index 2025 ranks Switzerland 20th among 33 OECD countries, revealing key gaps: - 80.4% of women are employed, but only 60.7% work full-time - The gender pay gap remains at 18%, above the OECD average - Part-time roles dominate, limiting career growth and financial security Ensuring equal opportunities is about fair pay, career progression, and long-term stability.
