  • LS Instrumentes is back from an exciting week at the AERC 2025 in Lyon.   Thank you to everyone who visited us at our booth, attended our presentation or just took a quick glance at our banner! It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with researchers and industry experts exploring the rheology of complex materials. As the demand for advanced material characterization continues to grow—particularly in food, pharma, and personal care—so does the need for innovative and user-friendly instrumentation. Across the conference, we saw a clear focus on:  - Automation in data analysis - Ease of use for non-specialists - Integration into real-world processes Yet, one challenge remains: reliable and straightforward characterization of soft viscoelastic systems, such as gels and emulsions. That’s where the DWS RheoLab stands out—still the only comprehensive solution for such materials with unique advantages including: 🧪 Sealed cuvette for contact-free rheology and shelf-life testing 🌡️ Broad frequency and temperature range 🔄 Suitable for both R&D and QC environments We’re excited to keep pushing the boundaries of microrheology—and we look forward to seeing you at the next AERC edition in Kraków, 2026! 🇵🇱 #AERC2025 #Microrheology #Rheology #DWSRheoLab #MaterialScience #FoodScience #PharmaInnovation #LSInstruments #ScientificInstrumentation #AERC2026

📢 Introducing Our Publications Showcase Series! 📢 Welcome to our new series, where we highlight cutting-edge research and its real-world impact!  🚀 We kick things off with a study on hydrogel gelation time—a critical factor for applications in medicine, bioprinting, and beyond. This first publication comes from a collaboration between the Changzhou Institute of Technology, Changzhou University and Penn State University. 🧪 Advancing Hydrogel Research with Non-Invasive Techniques! 🌟 Understanding gel time is key to optimizing hydrogels for medical and industrial applications. This study compares traditional rotational rheometry with diffusing wave spectroscopy (DWS)—a non-invasive technique that tracks gelation without disrupting the sample. ✅ Key Findings: 🔹 Traditional rheometry applies force, potentially altering gelation. 🔹 DWS offers real-time insights into gel microstructure without interference. 🔹 pH can fine-tune gelation time for precise control.   Why does it matter? This work paves the way for tailored hydrogels in medicine, bioprinting, and beyond! You can find the full publication here: https://lnkd.in/eu_3ZFa5 If you want to learn more about the DWS RheoLab which made this study possible visit our product page: https://lnkd.in/e7p4XPWQ Stay tuned for more research spotlights in our Publications Showcase! 🔬✨
