As World Hormone Day nears, we thought we would take a moment to share its origins and its evolution from the first European Hormone Day in 2022. Many people have an idea of what hormones are, but do not really know what hormones do or how individuals can improve their endocrine (hormone) health. European Hormone Day began as an initiative to raise awareness of hormone health and disease. 2022: ESE and the ESE Foundation published Recognising the Key Role of Hormones in European Health: ‘The Milano 2022 Declaration'. The declaration encourages national and European decision-makers to better integrate endocrinology in European and national health policies, including in national and European research funding schemes. 👉 https://lnkd.in/ewiEfWgG 2023: A public-facing annex to the Milano Declaration, 10 Recommendations for Good Hormone Health, was created 👉 https://lnkd.in/e3cpbG36 2024: These 10 recommendations were used to create 10 small steps everyone can take towards good hormone health, with more than 100 organisations taking part and millions of people joining the conversation worldwide 👉 https://lnkd.in/eiCgzzXB Join us in the first World Hormone Day on 24 April 2025! 👉 www.worldhormoneday.org #BecauseHormonesMatter
