Earlier this week, we unveiled the Hypopara Butterfly as part of the Seeds of Change initiative. Designed to reflect the emotions, challenges and resilience of those affected by hypopara, this mural symbolises shared experiences in a powerful format. We're delighted to have worked with watercolour artist, Lynn Norris on this creative project. As someone living with hypoparathyroidism herself, Lynn brings a deeply personal perspective to this artwork. Her insights, combined with her artistic flair, have led to a creative mural that speaks to the hypopara community that she is part of. Lisa Cave and Rachael Tolfrey attended the Society for Endocrinology BES conference in Harrogate this week, where they helped launch the Hypopara Butterfly - a stunning mural by artist Lynn Norris, who lives with hypoparathyroidism (hypopara) herself. Part of the Seeds of Change initiative, this inspiring artwork reflects the challenges and hopes of the UK hypopara community in a creative format. It’s still a work in progress as we look to add insights from the healthcare professionals at the conference and finalise ready for World Hypopara Day in June. Dr. Annice Mukherjee discusses how registries built on the PeopleWith platform are providing high-resolution data that members can query. This data is helping to inform future research and clinical trials, ultimately leading to better outcomes for patients. The collaboration with Society for Endocrinology is something we at PeopleWith are really proud of, and we’re excited to explore further opportunities for improving clinical insights and treatment pathways. #SfeBES2025 #Research #Endocrinology #endocrine #Endocrineresearch #PeopleWith #PatientOutcomes #ClinicalTrials #DataDrivenHealthcare #PatientCentric #HealthData #MedicalResearch Mark Bradley, Jessica Davis, Carys Richards, Richard Donnelly, Chris Johnston
