Each of these developments is a testament to our commitment to creating vibrant, sustainable, and welcoming communities that people are proud to call home. But we believe in building more than just homes—we’re building community. That’s why we spent time together as a team, raising funds for causes close to our hearts, and giving back to the neighborhoods we’re privileged to be a part of. Last year also marked a period of growth for our team. Welcoming new faces, sharing ideas, and embracing diverse perspectives have made us stronger and more innovative. Great event at Wanson Group 's Nido presentation centre this past Saturday helping to inform prospective home-buyers on the myriad of programs available. Thank you MLA Canada's Suzana Goncalves and Kathryn Ryan for the invitation and Shams Razouki Heather Peng, CFA, PFP Yao Xu for co-presenting. We were able to cover a lot of information including Firm Approvals, FHSA and RRSP first time home-buyer programs all of which will help buyers confidently navigate the home buying journey. This week we celebrated World Mental Health Day, and it was a reminder of supporting mental health initiatives in our communities. We’re proud to share that Wanson Group and Lloyd & Jay Foundation, through their annual blueberry sales fundraiser, have donated $10,080 to the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation, supporting critical mental health programming. Even better, another generous donor will match this amount, doubling the impact and extending care to even more individuals. Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we reflect on the painful history of residential schools and the enduring impacts on Indigenous communities in British Columbia and across Canada. Last Friday, our team wore orange shirts as a symbol of our commitment to fostering understanding and healing. Silva Projects - June Update 🏗️ Silva 1: We’re thrilled to share that Silva 1 is now weathertight! Our trades are prepping the exterior cladding and brickwork, and inside, they’re getting ready for mechanical and electrical inspections before closing up the walls with drywall. Progress is steady, and we can’t wait to show you more. 🏗️ Silva 2: Big strides at Silva 2! The final pour on the L1 slab is complete, finishing the parkade concrete. To improve the construction schedule, we advanced the framing works to start on the slab while it was still being poured. With walls and panels fabricated off-site, they arrive ready for assembly. And L2 flooring is now underway. 🏗️ Silva 3: At Silva 3, excavation for earthwork removal is in full swing. We’re nearing completion of the shoring for temporary walls, setting the stage for the concrete footings, slab, and walls of the parkade.
