The team had a busy trip to Germany. First to the biggest tradeshow in the world, Hanover Messe, to see innovative technologies firsthand that can enhance the Salish Elements - Xaxli'p green hydrogen facility, and then Berlin to tour Siemen's Energy blue switchgear factory, which they also found to be quite impressive. These switch gears produce zero pollution and zero emissions. This leadership team explores solutions that are truly sustainable, reliable and safe, and the best way to experience those options is first hand and in person. Thank you for the tour Siemens Energy! #greenhydrogen #greentechnology #HM25 Omar Kassem Tom Moise Rueben George

Thank you, #CHA. We are working hard to build green hydrogen infrastructure right here in B.C. https://lnkd.in/gNYEgKHx
Congratulations to our members Salish Elements on signing an Agreement of Principle (AIP) with the Indigenous government of Xaxli'p to collaborate on the development of a 25 MW green hydrogen production facility in Xaxli’p territory. The representatives established the terms for a more detailed working agreement between the Xaxli'p Development Corp. (XDC) and Salish Elements to create a new partnership in the construction and operation of the facility. The Xaxli’p community resides in the Squamish-Lillooet region of B.C. and is one of 11 communities that make up the St’at’imc Nation. Salish Elements and Xaxli’p are negotiating a land lease and other partnership details to construct the facility. Salish Elements plans to produce the green hydrogen for the North American transportation market.
