Innovation in Creating Hydrogen from Renewable Power Sources
About us
Next Hydrogen water electrolysers provide utility-scale clean hydrogen for energy storage, economically. They’re purpose-built to provide unprecedented operational flexibility so you can exploit intermittently available renewable sources of energy and capture the entire power input range. The units respond rapidly and automatically to sudden changes in power, and come equipped with an “overdrive” mode that lets you produce hydrogen twice as quickly when electricity is least expensive. All of which significantly reduces operating costs without necessitating additional capital costs. Plus, the units are portable, compact and come pre-assembled and ready to drop in at your site, so they’re up and running quickly and easily – with no need for you to invest in a build-out.

We enjoyed participating in the Hydrogen•East Conference in Halifax, led by the Atlantic Hydrogen Alliance and EventWorx Corporation! Andrew Friedenthal had productive conversations discussing new project opportunities, the importance of government and policy to support growth, and participating in the hydrogen pricing roundtable discussion led by Nirmal Gnanapragasam, PhD., P.Eng. #Lowcarbon #hydrogen has tremendous potential in #AtlanticCanada to lower GHG emissions and drive economic development. Hydrogen is a promising solution in energy sectors that are challenging to decarbonize, including heavy transportation, #shipping and other marine vessels, and high-temperature industrial processes.

Next Hydrogen would like to thank the Ontario Government | Gouvernement de l’Ontario, especially the Honourable Sam Oosterhoff and Stephen Lecce, for their ongoing support of Ontario’s growing #hydrogen sector. The expansion of the Hydrogen Innovation Fund provides a great opportunity for Ontario to be a hub for #greenhydrogen technology and project development. Hydrogen can be applied to #decarbonize hard to electrify sectors, including heavy transporation, steel, oil and gas refining, aviation, and more. Next Hydrogen is proud to be based in #Ontario and play a role in the growth of the hydrogen sector to generate #localjobs, be a #technology leader, and improve our #energysecurity.
The Ontario Government | Gouvernement de l’Ontario is launching a new round of the Hydrogen Innovation Fund, investing $30 million to unlock hydrogen’s potential to drive economic growth, create jobs and support the province’s position as a leader in the clean energy economy. The new fund will have double the budget of the $15 million 2023 fund and broaden eligibility criteria to include electricity grid-focused initiatives, as well as applications across other sectors, such as transportation. “The potential of hydrogen is immense, with applications in transportation, manufacturing and heavy industry already transforming how we power our economy,” said Sam Oosterhoff, Associate Minister of Energy-Intensive Industries. “With Ontario’s excellence in the nuclear sector, our history of energy innovation and growth is already second to none. Renewing the Hydrogen Innovation Fund builds on this and will protect Ontario workers and jobs, while securing our province’s economic future. Investing in hydrogen will create thousands of good-paying jobs across the province. This investment means choosing to back Ontario jobs, competitiveness, and long-term prosperity.” Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gZskkNCA #hydrogen #hydrogenenergy #hydrogenindustry #ontario #cleantech #cleanenergy #netzero #funding #decarbonization #ontariojobs
