EllisDon hit the court (and the ice!) for the ParaTough Cup, the signature fundraising event of the Paralympic Foundation of Canada. Our teams in Calgary and Toronto competed in wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, sitting volleyball, and Para ice hockey - gaining a whole new appreciation for the skill, strength, and resilience of Para athletes. “We are humbled to take part in a unique and inspiring event that provides awareness around the challenges Canadian Para athletes face,” said Wayne Ferguson, Chief Operating Officer & EVP, Infrastructure Services. “This awareness and experience help us better understand how infrastructure can be adapted so that it's accessible for everyone.” Our teams contributed $17,352 to the Paralympic Foundation of Canada, helping create more opportunities for Canadians with disabilities to experience the power of sport.
