Can architecture play a role in patient recovery? We believe it can. Meet Bita Ardabili, our Healthcare Practice Lead, whose passion for human-centered design began with childhood sketches of buildings and a deep curiosity about how spaces shape experiences. Drawn to healthcare for its complexity and impact, she now designs hospitals, clinics, and specialized care units that prioritize both healing and efficiency. As we grow our Architecture & Master Planning practice in Canada, we’re excited to shape the future of healthcare—creating spaces that heal, inspire, and endure. #MeetTheExperts #HealthcareArchitecture #SustainableDesign #AtkinsRéalis

This week's Wednesday Wisdom comes from Moustafa Yehia Mahmoud our Director of Sustainability in the Middle East. For neurodivergent individuals, our relationship with work often feels different. There’s a strong drive to achieve, create, and find purpose, and the satisfaction comes from progress and momentum. But for many of us, rest becomes something we need to plan for rather than something that happens naturally. This photo is a gentle reminder of why that’s important. Away from the office, meetings, and projects, at AtkinsRéalis, we prioritize care for one another. True innovation comes from being balanced, rested, and supported. For neurodivergent individuals, that means recognizing when we need time to step back and recharge. We can’t pour from an empty cup. In a world that values constant output, it’s easy to forget that rest isn’t the opposite of productivity - it’s part of it. At AtkinsRéalis, we remind each other that taking care of ourselves is integral to our work. Rest isn’t pulling away from what matters; it’s replenishing the energy to contribute meaningfully. For those who find joy in the work we do, remember: rest isn’t a break from progress - it’s a part of it. By embracing moments of rest and connection, we return to work with more clarity, creativity, and resilience. #WednesdayWisdom #EmployeeWellbeing
