Elaine is an activist, a Grade 12 student, and the founder of HiEddy.ai—a pioneering conversational agent that offers compassionate, accessible support for body image and eating disorder healing. Her advocacy took off with her bold 2023 TEDx Talk, "The Weight of Our Obsession With Weight." Notably, Elaine’s proactive initiation of HiEddy.ai became the inspiration for the creation of GambitCo’s Changemaker Program—which has empowered six leaders to build AI solutions. A recipient of the prestigious Diana Award and published researcher in the International Conference on Computing and Data Science, Elaine continues to make change with knowledge, innovation, and audacity. 🌟 She Talks Tech | Meet the Panelists: Aasha Khan 🌟 We're pleased to welcome, Aasha Khan, as a panelist for our She Talks Tech event on April 17th! Aasha Khan, a Grade 11 student from KW, is a passionate advocate for social justice and AI literacy. She serves as the Girl Up, United Nations Foundation Teen Advisor Co-Chair and introduced AskEve, a conversational AI created with Gambit Co. to offer safe, anonymous support for discussions around menstruation. Aasha delivered a TED Talk titled "How to Have a Constructive Conversation," focusing on bridging divides through meaningful dialogue. She additionally founded Youth Tech Labs, Canada’s first AI literacy organization for youth, which equips young people with essential AI skills and has received endorsement from the Prime Minister of Canada.
