Valerie Omife we were so lucky to have you participate as a panelist in our AI in Education Fireside Chat! Youth in KW are incredibly motivated to learn about AI. We are fortunate to live in a community that has so many leaders in this space and are willing to share their insights with us!
Founder of Global Hearts Outreach Foundation | Digital Innovator | Legal Studies & Economics Student at University of Waterloo | Empowering Communities Through Technology
I had the incredible opportunity to participate as a student panelist in a discussion on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the classroom at Youth Tech Labs. 🌐🤖 The conversation opened my eyes to the growing potential of AI in transforming education, creating personalized learning experiences, and helping students thrive in the digital age. As we discussed how AI can empower students, I couldn’t help but relate it to the work being done with young students in the KW region and how it’s vital to integrate technology into education in a meaningful way. It became even clearer that the future of education isn’t just about technology—it’s about empowering the next generation of thinkers, creators, and innovators. By collaborating with other leaders in educational spaces, we can ensure that all students, especially those in underserved areas, have access to the tools and resources they need to succeed. 💡 A huge thank you to Youth Tech Labs for having me be part of this important conversation last year. 🙏 Reflecting on that experience has further solidified my commitment to digital innovation and social change in education. Excited to continue exploring how technology can positively impact the learning experience for students everywhere in 2025 and beyond! 🚀 #AIinEducation #EdTech #YouthInnovation #DigitalEducation #FutureOfLearning #TechForGood #CollaborationInEducation #YouthTechLabs #LeadershipInEducation #EmpoweringStudents #KWRegion
