Why is tele-operation so crucial in the roadmap towards fully autonomously driving trains? Not just because it acts a fallback technology for full automation. It is because it allows our customers to already unlock a significant part of the value of automation, today. If you know that drivers typically spend 25% of their time transporting empty trains, imagine what the impact can be of remote operation on the problem of the current driver shortage! Last week we were invited to give a keynote talk at the inaugural Conference on Rail Automation at the Arts et Métiers - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers. We shared our vision on the steps towards full automation, and demonstrated how we are pioneering this field with our projects with industry leaders. Big thanks to professor Martin Cichon from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) for the invite, and looking forward to share our progress next year!

🚆 Breaking News from OTIV! 🚆 After months of research, we’ve developed the ultimate solution for automated train control. Introducing OTIV.FIVE: Mind-Controlled Train Driving! 🧠💡 With our revolutionary AI feature, NTL: Neural Train-Link, train operators can now control trains using nothing but their thoughts. Simply think “Slow down” or “Arrive on time,” and your train responds instantly! Initial tests show impressive results: ✅ 99% reduction in manual intervention ✅ Smoother, more responsive braking ✅ Finally, time for coffee while driving! The future is here – or is it? 😏 #AprilFools 🎉 But don’t worry, we’re actually working on exciting technologies that make rail transport safer and more efficient. Stay tuned for real innovations! #WeAreOTIV #WeLoveTrains #AprilFoolsDay
