On April 23, 2025, Tamara will share insights into MPET's business and her pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency in one of Europe’s largest container terminals. 💡⚓️   With over 15 years of experience in IT and security, Tamara's journey is truly inspiring. Before joining the private sector, she served over a decade with the Belgian Defence as a network and security specialist. She later transitioned into IT consulting as a project manager and took on the role of Infrastructure & Security Manager. Today, as our CIO/IT Manager, Tamara focuses on scaling, digital transformation, and strengthening MPET's IT department to optimize the entire supply chain. 👩💻🔐   We are especially proud to have Tamara lead our IT department. As a woman playing a key role in our business, her success is a testament to her expertise, leadership, and determination. At MSC PSA European Terminal, we believe in making a difference beyond our daily operations. Yesterday, we proudly donated €9,200 to Kinderkankerfonds vzw for their impactful project, ‘deLIEving,’ at UZ Gent. This initiative provides a safe and nurturing space for siblings of hospitalized children or children of seriously ill parents, allowing them to play, learn, and find comfort during challenging times. 🎗️ Tamara Lievens, Head of IT at MPET, handed over the cheque and expressed her pride in supporting such a vital cause: “Kinderkankerfonds vzw plays a crucial role in improving the lives of children battling cancer and their families. We are honored to contribute to their mission.” 💬 Every year, MSC PSA European Terminal collects scrap metal on its terminal, with proceeds going to meaningful charities. This year, we've already distributed two cheques of €9,200 each, with the first going to Kamiano vzw. Every year, we collect scrap metal at our terminal and donate the proceeds to various charitable organizations. As a result, we were able to donate a check of €9,200 to ‘Kamiano’ last week. We are proud to contribute to the vital work this organisation does every day. 🙏 Kamiano, part of the Sant'Egidio België/Belgique community, supports the most vulnerable in our society. They serve hot meals twice a week to homeless people and their families and provide acute care and guidance every morning. Watch our aftermovie of the very first edition of ATS Technical Village now! 🎬🍿 Our job day full of adrenaline took applicants quite literally to new heights with a jump from a height of 60m.
