ITC Rubis Terminal Antwerp NV

We are excited to announce that Mitsui has signed an agreement to acquire the remaining 50% stake in leading European tank terminal operator ITC Rubis Terminal Antwerp NV Antwerp, making it a wholly owned subsidiary.    ITC Rubis, a key European tank terminal operator specializing in liquid and gas chemicals, has been operating as a joint venture by Mitsui and Tepsa Infra SAS since 2008.   By fully integrating ITC Rubis, Mitsui will be able to double its earnings from the tank terminal operator and accelerate growth while leveraging the strategic location of Antwerp, Belgium, a key chemical logistics hub in Europe. In aanwezigheid van Marc Van de Vijver, Burgemeester van Beveren-Kruibeke-Zwijndrecht, Johan Klaps, Havenschepen voor de Port of Antwerp Bruges en Bruno Hayem, CEO Tepsa, werd de nieuwste tankput van ITC Rubis gisteren feestelijk ingehuldigd. De bijkomende capaciteit voegt 12 oplsagtanks toe, alsook een nieuw spoor en truck beladingsstation aan onze terminal. Onze dank gaat uit naar al onze contractors en collega's die dit ambitieus project veilig en succesvol hebben opgeleverd!

ITC Rubis recently had its jetty extension brought in via a huge pontoon crane. This coordinated project involved our construction company Stadsbader, Stranger architects and engineering, our neigbours AET where the hose tower extension was constructed and last, but not least, den Brabo, who hoisted the 125 tonne structure and put in precisely in place! Thank you all for a job well done and the coordination to make it work! Our customers will soon be benefitting from our increased capabilities.

Our jetty capabilities are further expanded thanks to Stadsbader's new steel hosetower structure, installed efficiently thanks to their modular approach and with the help of our neigbors, great teamwork!

ITC Rubis participated in the 2nd Chemistry & Energy Summit, organised by the Port of Antwerp-Bruges in Burghausen. A lot of open discussions on the current operating environment for the chemical industry and ongoing challenges related to the energy transition. Happy to share how ITC Rubis as a logistics and storage service provider can assist and participate in these opportunities.
