Het Vanguard Initiative is een unieke samenwerking van de meest geavanceerde industriële regio’s in Europa, gericht op het stimuleren van industriële innovatie en het opbouwen van Europese waardeketens op basis van complementariteit in regionale slimme specialisatiestrategieën. Senior expert Jean-François Romainville werkt intussen al 10 jaar binnen IDEA aan het Vanguard Initiative 3DP Pilot - project. We vroegen hem over de vele inzichten die hij daaruit verworven heeft.

🔥 What a last day ! 🔥 Jeudi dernier nous tenions un atelier de travail entre acteurs stratégiques pour le projet du Centre d'Interprétation de la Pierre à Antoing. L'occasion de débattre d'un vision touristique durable pour a commune, du lien entre passé présent et futur, des synergies entre secteurs industriel et recreatif. avec ma partner in crime Laura Kovács, et nos partenaires d' IDEA Consult . Une belle façon pour moi de clôturer ces 5 années de travail à BUUR Part of Sweco et de voguer vers de nouveaux horizons. Vers où ? 👀 L'avenir nous le dira !

Vorige week had ik het genoegen om voor de afgestudeerden in Vastgoedrecht & Planeconomie van Scobe Academy | dé persoonlijke opleider binnen de gebiedsontwikkeling, een presentatie te verzorgen. Ik nam hen mee in de Vlaamse juridische en fiscale vastgoedcontext, met nadruk op ruimtelijke planning en de goederenrechtelijke compartimentering (waaronder opstalrecht en erfpacht). Ook de verschillende fiscale tarieven (verkooprechten, btw) die in uiteenlopende situaties relevant zijn, kwamen kort aan bod. Allemaal thema's waar wij bij IDEA Consult vaak mee te maken krijgen wanneer we organisaties adviseren en begeleiden bij o.a. vastgoed- en gebiedsontwikkelingen en (financiële) haalbaarheidsstudies. Na afloop bezocht de groep de Antwerpse Slachthuissite, waar AG Vespa met Triple Living samenwerken aan een duurzame gebiedsontwikkeling. Een inspirerend voorbeeld van hoe theorie en praktijk perfect op elkaar aansluiten!

The Working Group on Interregional Collaboration of the S3 Community of Practice, animated by IDEA consult, Claire Nauwelaers and Richard Tuffs has released its latest paper: "Leveraging Funding for Interregional Collaboration." The paper explores how domestic and EU funding can be better aligned to support meaningful interregional cooperation – a crucial pillar for implementing Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3) across Europe. The VInnovate funding mechanism – Effectively meeting needs of innovators and ecosystems! The Vanguard Initiative successfully closed its first “VInnovate Call” (an interregional grant scheme supporting international innovation projects). [Nederlandse tekst hieronder] 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗹’𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 ? 😷🧐 Tel était l’objet de l’étude de grande ampleur qui a été confiée à IDEA Consult, en partenariat avec l'Ecole de Santé Publique de l'ULB, par la Cellule de planification de l’offre des professions des soins de santé du FOD Volksgezondheid, Veiligheid van de Voedselketen en Leefmilieu (SPF Santé publique, Sécurité de la Chaîne alimentaire et Environnement). Les résultats de cette étude viennent d’être publiés ✨ Ce travail apporte un éclairage précieux sur l’évolution de la profession infirmière, ses défis et ses perspectives d’avenir. 🔍 Quelques constats clés :  ✅ Les infirmier(e)s sont fier(e)s de leur métier, mais leur environnement de travail menace cette vocation.  ✅ L’impact de la profession sur la santé physique et mentale des infirmier(e)s est significatif.  ✅ De nombreuses conditions de travail restent insatisfaisantes, ce qui conduit certain(e)s à envisager une reconversion.  ✅ Le rapport propose plusieurs recommandations pour améliorer l’attractivité et la rétention dans la profession. We hebben dit onderzoek uitgevoerd in samenwerking met de ULB. De resultaten van deze studie werden net gepubliceerd ✨ Dit onderzoek werpt een waardevol licht op de evolutie van het beroep van verpleegkundige, zijn uitdagingen en toekomstperspectieven. 🔍 Enkele belangrijke bevindingen: ✅ Verpleegkundigen zijn trots op hun beroep, maar hun werkomgeving bedreigt deze roeping. ✅ De impact van het beroep op de fysieke en mentale gezondheid van verpleegkundigen is aanzienlijk. ✅ Veel werkomstandigheden blijven onbevredigend, waardoor sommige verpleegkundigen overwegen om van beroep te veranderen. ✅ Het rapport doet een aantal aanbevelingen om het beroep aantrekkelijker te maken.
