Elle doit aussi intégrer l’activité économique qui fait battre le cœur de nos quartiers. C’est dans cette optique que hub.brussels, en collaboration avec perspective.brussels et Urban.brussels, a publié un nouveau guide méthodologique dédié au diagnostic économique territorial, sur base d’un prototypage mené dans le cadre du Contrat de rénovation urbaine 7 – Autour de la Gare du Midi. Ce guide, développé avec le consortium BUUR Part of Sweco (SWECO), IDEA Consult et Osmos Network, outille les acteurs publics pour mieux cerner les dynamiques commerciales, productives et sociales d’un quartier, en s’appuyant sur des données précises, à trois échelles : régionale, locale et au niveau de ses acteurs économiques. De economische activiteit die onze wijken doet bruisen, verdient evenveel aandacht. Vanuit die visie, heeft hub.brussels samen met perspective.brussels en urban.brussels een methodologische gids uitgebracht voor territoriale economische diagnose. Deze gids bouwt voort op een prototype ontwikkeld voor het Stadsvernieuwingscontract 7 rond het Zuidstation. Het consortium BUUR (SWECO), IDEA Consult en Osmos werkte deze praktische handleiding uit voor overheidsdiensten. 🇧🇪🇻🇳 #BELVNM2025 The State visit to Vietnam shone a spotlight on the pioneering role of Brussels-based company Haemers Technologies Technologies in remediating soil contaminated by Agent Orange during the war. Their unique and revolutionary thermal desorption technology treats polluted soil in situ, without excavation — a major step forward for a country still grappling with the devastating consequences of Agent Orange, which continues to cause harm even today. Belgium was the first country in the world to officially recognise, through a parliamentary resolution, the suffering of Agent Orange victims. This Thursday, founder and CEO Jan Haemers took part in a symbolic ceremony at the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, in the presence of Their Majesties the King and Queen. As a member of our ecobuild.brussels cluster, Haemers Technologies operates from its headquarters along the Brussels canal and employs 70 people, working on high-impact projects around the world.
