Alliance for New Mobility Europe was pleased to take part in today’s important EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency TeB Joint Session alongside #EU Member States and key industry associations, with our Secretary General Christoph Raab in attendance. Over the past day and a half, the leading European drone associations prepared for the meeting with member state representatives to discuss on current regulatory developments, including:         •       Takeaways from the IAM Implementation Forum         •       The upcoming SORA 2.5 framework and its impact on STS         •       Proposed updates to Regulations 2019/945 & 947         •       Priority topics presented by the industry for the future of UAS regulation         •       Ongoing harmonisation challenges across Member States We welcome #EASA’s initiative to intensify industry participation in the rule-making process through the Drone Community within the Stakeholder Advisory Body (SAB). Today at XPONENTIAL Europe, Alliance for New Mobility Europe hosted a clear-cut discussion on the challenges preventing Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) flights from reaching scale. 🔍 Key roadblocks: ❌ Incomplete U-space implementation – Regulation exists, but execution is lagging. ❌ Lack of alignment across aviation stakeholders – We need consensus on how to safely integrate drones with traditional aviation. 💡 The way forward? We must strongly promote tested solutions that already work across Europe. By showcasing practical implementations, we can build consensus on safe drone operations and drive real regulatory progress.
