McMahon Services, a leading self-perform construction services company, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Operation Administrator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in our Civil & Infrastructure Operations team.


About the Role:

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operations Administrator is to support the Operations team with all the administrative works required to enable all Operational affairs.


What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to support administrative tasks as directed by the Operations Manager/team, including the weekly process of time sheets.
  • Maintain qualifications and training of all personnel in conjunction with the Operations Team and the Australian Defence base register.
  • Prepare agenda, organise, and record minutes of the regular internal operational, estimation, supervisors’ meetings.
  • Support the preparation of project documentation including printing A1/A3 plans, drawings, binding, labelling, and archiving.
  • Conduct clerical duties, including filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents.

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in construction or similar fields
  • Experience managing human resources matters in a comparable organisation
  • Experience managing business budgets and expenses
  • Experience developing internal processes and documentation systems

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Formal or informal qualification in construction, business, accounting, or similar fields
  • Competency in administration suite of software (e.g., Microsoft professional suite), Administration systems (e.g., Connex, Pronto and project management platforms (e.g., InEight, Aconex, Procore)
  • Proven negotiation, detail oriented, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work with conflicting deadlines and competing demands
