Mörk Chocolate are makers of specialty, ethically sourced hot chocolate.
About us
Inspired by Melbourne’s coffee culture ― which is considered by many to be the best in the world ― we have made it our mission to bring specialty hot chocolate onto the scene. In 2012, we created the first Mörk hot chocolate blend using the same approach taken by specialty coffee-makers; with respect for the traceability, quality and unique origin of ingredients all the way from bean to cup. That’s what makes Mörk different from the drinking chocolate you find in supermarkets today. Since then, the Mörk team has bloomed ― and so has our range. You can find it online or taste it in person at the Mörk Chocolate Brew House ― our cafe and on-site cacao roasting facility in North Melbourne, where we serve our specialty hot chocolate blends to loyal locals and everyday chocolate enthusiasts alike.

Introducing our newest store Our concept store Mörk Chocolate Journey opened last week to the glorious crowds of the new Market Pavilion. With both new and returning signature drinks, an incredible new pastry range and Easter treats, this new dessert haven seems to have hit the spot. We want to firstly thank our team for their amazing efforts and devotion through our first days. We also want to thank a number of people who made this store possible.

We’re looking for an experienced barista to lead the team at our new Mörk Chocolate CHADSTONE STORE, opening late March. This is a full time role, perfect for an enthusiastic and positive individual looking to advance their hospo career. Responsibilities include: managing our beverage and specialty coffee program (Patricia Coffee Brewers), executing our training program, and setting and maintaining quality standards to ensure smooth operations at the store. Founded in 2012, Mörk Chocolate is a Melbourne-based business that specialises in making exceptional drinking chocolate, with a focus on quality, sustainability and ethical sourcing. A glimpse into a chocolate maker’s daily work. Jackie joined our foundry team this year, pursuing a new career as a chocolate maker. With a background in wine making both in the USA and Australia, building a deep understanding for flavour and the power of patience, she has quickly immersed herself in this new world.
