Post-Tensioning for NewCold Melbourne II Dispatch Extension. NewCold Melbourne II is a state-of-the-art cold storage facility. Designed to offer a fully integrated one-stop solution, it accommodates ambient, chilled, and frozen storage and sets new service standards in the industry. Interspan was engaged to design and construct 4,500m² of post-tensioning for the dispatch extension zone, optimizing structural integrity while ensuring efficiency. We tailored the design using Ram Concept and RAPT software for maximum performance. To reduce material costs without compromising strength, we incorporated a 15.2mm strand throughout.
