We were honoured to welcome the President of Palau, Surangel Whipps with The Sunrise Project Inc. into our space today 🇵🇼 Palau has long been a nation championing climate action and environmental stewardship. Its coastal nature, fishing industry, and reliance on natural resources position them to be acutely aware of the need for positive climate action. In 2015, it became one of the first countries to establish a nationwide marine sanctuary, covering about 80% of its exclusive economic zone. It was a privilege to welcome the President into our space alongside the Palau delegation, and key voices on climate change like The Hon. Matt Kean for a robust discussion. Thank you to the team at The Sunrise Project Inc. for organising this. Harry Guinness

Australia's climate tech companies are climbing the ranks on TIME magazine's list of Top GreenTech Companies 🗞️ It’s exciting to see our local innovators driving the charge toward a sustainable future with Hysata, 5B, Amber Electric, v2food, Relectrify, JOLT, CleanPeak Energy, Stacked Farm®, and SunDrive making the top 250! These companies are building generational technology businesses, and we're so privileged to watch them tackle massive issues. For some like Amber Electric, one of our Greenhouse members, we get to see it up close in our Hub where their Sydney team works to make their product better every day. For others, we get rich insights of the process and their outlook during moments like our opening panel at the Climate Innovation and Investment Summit where Prachi Agrawal from Hysata and Alice Lang from 5B weighed in on the funding "valley of death" for climate tech companies. It's energising to be working around innovators making huge strides in climate tech and watching them put Australia on the world stage 🌏 Harry Guinness Suz Scott Charlotte Connell Ed Schmidt

Can Australia hit its ambitious target of 82% renewables? ⚡ With land approvals, transmission bottlenecks, and policy uncertainty slowing things down, the road ahead isn’t simple BUT the right tech and investment can unlock the future. During Climate Action Week Sydney, we teamed up with Rystad Energy to tackle these challenges head-on. Our panel of industry leaders from Tesla, Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), RayGen, Nextracker Inc., Equinor, and SMA Australia shared cutting-edge innovations that can supercharge the transition and keep power prices in check. The message was clear: the National Electricity Market is at a crossroads. If we don’t accelerate solutions, we risk turning Australia’s energy transition into a cautionary tale. Let’s keep the momentum going and turn ambition into action. 🚀 Harry Guinness Ed Schmidt Elsie O'Gorman Gero Farruggio (GAICD) #cawsyd25

What does the future of power consumption look like? ⚡ During Climate Action Week Sydney, we partnered with Flow Power to take their True Zero experiments from an in-house experiment to a real-world demonstration. This process will see us match our energy usage in real time with 24/7 carbon-free electricity generation or storage. We are charged up for this next chapter and excited to work with Flow Power on bringing this to life within our walls. Want to learn more about what True Zero is and how it works? What does climate action look like along the property value chain? 🏢🌿 How do property owners, tenants, suppliers, and developers shape the everyday lives (and emissions) of the people who work and live in their properties? In this session, Kate Nelson, Venky . S, Darryl Stuckey, and Charlotte Stratton from Lendlease explored what Lendlease is doing to redefine workplace sustainability. They spoke of going beyond green building standards to create human-centric, adaptable spaces that meet evolving tenant needs. By collaborating closely with tenants on sustainability goals, Lendlease is shaping the future of workplaces through net-zero targets, flexible designs, and social impact initiatives. We were proud to have them join us for this panel and as a diamond sponsor for last week's Climate Innovation and Investment Summit.
