As emergency situations like wildfires, industrial fires or nuclear emergencies can happen any time of the day and often take a long time to get under control, our machines are often also deployed at night. In doing so, the submersible pumps can be in open water to provide the fire brigade and emergency services with sufficient water. In these situations good visibility of the submersible pumps is of importance. We recommend using our HFS Signal Light. A high-brightness LED lamp with a peak light output of 100cd. The light can illuminate around 6 hours on a full battery. If you wish to get more information, please contact our sales department. #hytrans #signallight #submersiblepumps #safety

Water Desalination: A Sustainable Solution for Clean Water Access to clean water is becoming more challenging due to climate change, overuse, and pollution. The World Resources Institute released a study in 2023 indicating that over a quarter of the world's population faces extremely high water stress. With freshwater sources depleting and demand rising, desalination offers a reliable solution, especially when powered by renewable energy. What is Water Desalination? Desalination removes salt and impurities from seawater, making it safe for consumption. The two most common methods are: 🔹 Reverse Osmosis (RO): Uses a semi-permeable membrane to filter out salt and contaminants. 🔹 Thermal Distillation: Boils seawater, then condenses the vapor into freshwater. While large-scale desalination plants are common in water-scarce regions, the challenge has always been cost and energy consumption. The Need for Innovation 👨🔬 Traditional desalination is energy-intensive, often relying on fossil fuels. However, solar-powered desalination is changing the game. By harnessing renewable energy, desalination can now be more accessible, affordable, and eco-friendly. Elemental Water Makers Solar Desalination: The Smarter Choice EWM’s solar-powered desalination systems, supplied by Bluemont Pty Ltd, bring efficient and cost-effective freshwater solutions to communities in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. These systems: ✅ Provide 5,000 – 100,000 litres/day ✅ Use reverse osmosis for high-quality water ✅ Lower costs with renewable energy ✅ Reduce environmental impact Water scarcity is real, but solutions exist. Is your community ready for a sustainable water future? Let’s talk about how EWM solar desalination can help, or visit our website for more details --> https://lnkd.in/gVZ2Jx_F Read the rest of the study here --> https://lnkd.in/gNVgRs5G #Desalination #CleanWater #Sustainability #RenewableEnergy #ElementalWaterMakers #Bluemont

NOAQ Boxwall - Faster, Lighter, Easier... Better! When floodwaters rise, every second counts. Traditional sandbags? Heavy, slow, and labour-intensive. The NOAQ Boxwall changes the game. Designed for rapid deployment, these lightweight, self-anchoring barriers can be set up in minutes by just one or two people—no heavy lifting, no complex assembly and NO TOOLS. As water presses against the Boxwall, it holds itself in place, using the flood water's weight to create a seal strong enough for almost any conditions. Don't believe us? Check out the video below of Boxwalls withstanding a huge storm surge in Denmark earlier this year. Why choose NOAQ Boxwalls? ✅ Fast & Easy – Deploy 100 meters in under 25 minutes with just two people! ✅ Lightweight & Compact – The 1m high units are only 15.2kg each, making them easy to store, transport, and set up. ✅ Self-stabilising – Uses water pressure to stay in place. ✅ Reusable & Sustainable – No more wasteful sandbags. Whether it’s protecting homes, businesses, or critical infrastructure, the NOAQ Boxwall is a brighter, more efficient way to stay ahead of flooding. Bluemont Pty Ltd is proud to be the official supplier of NOAQ Boxwalls in Australia and New Zealand so please feel free to get in contact with us. Building Resilient Shores & Thriving Marine Ecosystems – The Eco-Friendly Way 🌏🌊 At Bluemont Pty Ltd, we believe coastal protection and marine biodiversity can go hand in hand. That’s why Bluemont RockBags are designed not just as an erosion control solution but as a foundation for sustainability. A great example of this approach is the Yui Coast fish reef and seaweed farming initiative in Japan. Back in 2008, Ridgeway Rockbags provided durable and permeable RockBag units, which were used as sinkers to support wooden fish reef structures, helping marine life flourish while reinforcing coastal resilience. 🔹 What Makes RockBags Different? ✅ Eco-Friendly & Non-Toxic – Unlike traditional concrete solutions, RockBags are made of marine-safe materials that integrate naturally into the ecosystem. ✅ Encouraging Biodiversity – The interlocking rock structure creates microhabitats for marine species, supporting fish populations and aquatic vegetation. ✅ Adaptable & Sustainable – Ideal for beach erosion, river erosion, pylon scouring and artificial reefs, helping to protect coastlines without harming the environment. As global climate challenges grow, solutions like RockBags offer a way to safeguard marine environments while promoting long-term ecological health. 🌍 If you'd like to learn more about RockBags and their applications, talk to one of our project managers below or visit our website here --> https://lnkd.in/ghv3mdEm #SustainableSolutions #BluemontRockBags #MarineConservation #EcoInnovation #RockBags #ArtificialReef Justin Bear, Paul Hart, Arnaud Diemont, Rowan Hodges, Nicholas Bear

🌀 Cyclone Recovery & Flood Protection: A Smarter Way Forward 🌀 In the wake of the recent #CycloneAlfred, our thoughts are with the communities facing the challenges of recovery. Flooding often follows extreme weather events, and the damage can be devastating, not just to homes and businesses but to entire communities. At Bluemont, we are committed to helping safeguard our nation from various extreme weather threats and believe in practical, fast, and effective protective solutions that help minimise damage and disruption. The NOAQ Flood Protection AB Boxwall is one such innovation, a self-anchoring, lightweight flood barrier that can be rapidly deployed to divert or contain floodwaters. No sandbags, no heavy lifting, not even any tools, just a smarter way to fight floods. As Queensland and Northern New South Wales rebuild, it's crucial to think ahead. How can we better prepare for the next major weather event? How can we protect infrastructure, businesses, and communities more efficiently? Should the focus of councils and government be placed on proactive solutions like sea walls, or do we need a stronger plan for mobile defence systems once the event has already hit? Let’s start the conversation. If you're involved in flood risk management, disaster response, or community planning, we’d love to discuss how Bluemont Pty Ltd's solutions can be part of that plan. #FloodProtection #DisasterResponse #CycloneRecovery #NOAQ #Bluemont #ResilientCommunities #NOAQBoxwall #RockBags #Hytrans Justin Bear, Arnaud Diemont, Paul Hart, Rowan Hodges, Nicholas Bear
