In 2017, when we first partnered with INTERPORTO PADOVA S.P.A., automation in intermodal logistics was more of an ambition than a reality. On Monday, that vision has come to life! With the delivery of six Künz Intermodal cranes, Interporto Padova now stands at the forefront of innovation. Three of these cranes operate autonomously, featuring advanced people recognition technology for enhanced safety. All six can be controlled remotely via the ROS system, offering maximum flexibility and precision. What does this mean? Faster, safer, and more efficient terminal operations. 𝗔 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴’𝘀 𝗦𝗸𝘆𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲! Beginning of February we have reached an incredible milestone: Over 100 Kuenz cranes are now operating in Hamburg! At the beginning of February 2025, we have successfully completed the delivery of stacking cranes 40, 41 and 42 to HHLA, in cooperation with ABB at Burchardkai. This achievement makes us very proud. Being a part of the dynamic operations at this international gateway is both an honor and a testament to the strong partnership we have built over the last years. Thank you to HHLA Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG and ABB and of course our amazing Team who made this project possible! On to more Milestones in 2025!

INTRODUCING FREERIDER 7 🚂🏗️🔋 The newest fully electric crane to join our fleet at Austell Intermodal Terminal in Georgia. Standing an impressive 116 feet wide and 86 feet tall, Freerider 7 will be fully operational by February 2025, adding the capacity we need to support growth in the Atlanta market. With seven fully electric cranes now powering our stacked operations, we’re improving fluidity, boosting efficiency, and eliminating carbon emissions—all while enhancing safety every step of the way.

Wie bereits angekündigt hat unser Rail Terminal am EUROGATE Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven Ende Oktober 2024 offiziell einen neuen Bahn-Kran in Betrieb genommen. Die erfolgreiche Übergabe mit der Herstellerfirma Künz, fand am 31.10.2024 statt. Somit besteht ab sofort die Möglichkeit in den sechs vorhandenen Gleisen mit bis zu vier Kranen zu arbeiten und die Züge zu ent- und beladen. Angeschlossen wird der RC02 im Süden und gesellt sich hier zu den bereits vorhandenen Bahn-Kranen RC05 – RC03. Ergänzend finden im Süden unserer KV-Anlage gerade Bauarbeiten für eine Gleisverlängerung statt, die vsl. in KW47 abgeschlossen sein und zukünftig die Abfertigung von Ganzzügen mit bis zu 720m gewährleisten werden. #eurogate #wilhelmshaven #jadeweserport

Ein aufregender Tag geht zu Ende. Heute wurde nicht nur der erste neue Künz Portalkran an die PKV und Deutsche Umschlaggesellschaft Schiene-Straße (DUSS) mbH übergeben. Gleichzeitig kamen die Großbauteile des zweiten Portalkrans in mehreren Sondertransporten an und konnten bestaunt werden.
