The INSETA Excellence Recognition Awards is an enthralling celebration recognising exceptional contribution to skills development within the insurance sector. Sanlam Data and Digital Academy (SDDA) welcomes the 2025 cohort 💙   There was much excitement on January the 6th, as we welcomed the new group onto the SDDA. This is the 7th year of the Academy, and as always, we marvel at the talent and enthusiasm of the young graduates that join. This year they will be challenged, learn new skills, make new friends and, most importantly, discover where their true passion lies. This accelerated development programme focuses on two separate tracks , namely data and digital. It includes classroom and online training, group projects, rotations through the business and a hackathon. At the end of the 13 months, each grad is ready to launch their career in Sanlam. It is our privilege to support them in this journey. Good luck to the class of 2025 💫

We, together with SANParks, have expanded the successful SMME Support Program to Addo Elephant National Park (AENP), providing zero-interest loans to small businesses within a 50-kilometre radius. This R20 million fund offers critical support to micro, small, and medium enterprises, helping them deliver services to SANParks and contribute to local economic growth.
