  • 🚀 The Two Bridges to Sales Success: Communication and Perseverance Why do top salespeople consistently outperform their peers by such a wide margin? Because they’ve mastered two fundamental bridges, the external bridge of communication and the internal bridge of perseverance. To achieve true success, you must cross both bridges. There are no shortcuts. 🔍 The Research Is Clear: A meta-analysis of 600 interviews with sales managers, top performers, and customers revealed a universal truth: sales success isn’t about gimmicks, process, carrot-or-stick, or luck. It hinges on mastering these two bridges: the skill of communication and the trait of perseverance. The External Bridge: Communication (Skill) Communication is the external bridge that connects sales professionals to their customers. But let’s be honest, communication isn’t just about talking. It’s about ensuring your message reCInates. Here’s the secret: people differ. Great communicators inspire trust not by telling their story how they would like to hear it, but by tailoring their message to reCInate with the audience. Without reCInance, your efforts are like winking in the dark, the intention might be great, but the impact is zero. The Internal Bridge: Perseverance (Trait) Perseverance is the internal bridge that connects individuals to their goals, no matter the obstacles. It’s the difference between those who thrive and those who give up. But perseverance isn’t just about grit—it thrives on self-talk. Positive, constructive self-communication builds the mental toughness needed to turn setbacks into opportunities for growth. Perseverance depends on communication, not just with others but within yourself. However, people differ in their communication, to others and to self. E.g., some people love big-picture ideas; others crave details. Some thrive on competition, while others prefer collaboration. If you fail to adapt and resonate with your audience, or your own inner self, your efforts will fall flat. This is where reCInate changes the game. It ensures your communication resonates outwardly with others and inwardly with yourself. The question is: To reCInate or not to resonate? (reCInate = resonate through Communication Intelligence) www.recinate.com hashtag #SalesSuccess #TheTwoBridges #Communication #Perseverance #Leadership #ReCInateApproach #LeadershipDevelopment #SalesLeadership #HighPerformance #CommunicationSkills #Perseverance #EmotionalIntelligence #ReCInate #GrowthMindset

  • Effective Communication: From Resonance to Engagement A CEO walks into a company-wide meeting to announce a major organizational change. He launches into a high-level, visionary speech about how this transformation will drive innovation, boost market position, and set the company up for long-term success. He’s excited. He’s articulate. He’s painting a big picture of the future. But halfway through, he notices blank stares. The room is silent. By the end, people are murmuring concerns instead of feeling inspired. What went wrong? He communicated in his own preference of communication—visionary, ambitious, and future-focused. But his employees—many of whom were more structured and detail-oriented—were waiting for answers to very different questions… What does this mean for me and other people? How will we implement these changes? Will it work? His message didn’t resonate because it wasn’t framed in a way that matched how his audience processes information. As a result, instead of engagement, he got confusion and resistance. Just think what happens in every other form of communication. The same happens in sales, in procurement, in projects, in marketing, in personal relationships … and the list goes on. If you want to see who you communicate with the most, look in the mirror. Our default communication preference is the way we naturally explain, persuade, or inform—it’s comfortable, familiar, and makes perfect sense to us. But the other person is not you. We tend to assume that what resonates with us will resonate with others, but that’s rarely the case. If you only communicate in a way that makes sense to you, you risk losing most of your audience. Instead of adapting to one person's style, communicate in a way that resonates with all—start with the big picture for visionary thinkers, include key details for analytical people, provide structure for methodical people, and highlight the human impact for connected people. Don’t get their preference wrong because preferences are situational. E.g., if I just attended a brainstorm on new ideas, I might be more visionary, or if I have a family member that passed away, I might be more emotional. Covering all preferences ensures your message reaches everyone. Effective communication isn’t about what you say—it’s about what the other person hears, understands, feels, and engages with. If your communication isn’t getting the response you want, stop looking outward and start looking inward. Are you communicating only in a way that makes sense to you, or are you adapting to connect with others? To reCInate or not to resonate. The choice is yours. We have delivered workshops on how to change this in 14 countries. People from 91 countries have received some engagement with us to improve communication. www.recinate.com #EffectiveCommunication #KnowYourAudience #EngageYourTeam #CommunicationStyles #ChangeManagement #LeadershipDevelopment #EmployeeEngagement #ResonateNotDictate #management #leadership
