Abstract
SmartPoly is secure and easy to use communication platform that empowers teacher and students. Android
college management system is an android application which is helpful for students as well as the colleges. In
the existing system all the activities are done manually. It is very costly and time consuming .In our
proposed system students can view results using Android phones. The data will view stored in the college
server. The faculty can login into their college account through the app itself and update the academic result,
in this system, student have easy access for viewing the marks.
1. Admin 2.Staff 3. Student. In the student’s module, student need to register their roll no, college
registration number, student name. Admin module maintains the students mark of internal colleges exams
other than this the advanced features are: In case of natural calamities such as floods, etc. notification to
students will be sent from admin office through app directly. Any new notice for a particular semester will
be uploaded by professor through application notifying to respective semester students. Also teachings staff
uploaded notice, alerts, unit or class test marks.
I. INTRODUCTION
The design and implementation of the system is to provide service in Organization. The system is to provide
comprehensive student information system and user interface is to replace the current paper records. College
Staff uploads attendance, results and college notifications through a secure, online interface using android
devices. All data is thoroughly reviewed and validated on the server before actual record alteration occurs.
The system plans for student user interface, allowing students to access tips and tricks as provided by their
seniors. All data is stored securely on SQL servers managed by the college Administrator.
The system decreases paperwork and time needed to access student records. Previously, college relied
heavily on paper records for this initiative which had its own disadvantages. This system provides a simple
interface for the maintenance of student information. It can be used by educational institutes or colleges to
maintain the records of students easily. Achieving this objective is difficult using a manual system as the
information are scattered, can be redundant and collecting relevant information may be very time
consuming. Online Attendance and Feedback System is software developed for daily student attendance in
schools, colleges and institutes. If facilitates to access the information of a particular student in a particular
class. It is concluded that a graduated approach to result monitoring is the most effective response, in which
sanctions have a place, although only as a last resort. Online Attendance and Feedback System is software

alerts, events, academic calendar in colleges and institutes. Its also includes college information. And for
educational purposes its have MSBTE links such as model answer paper, Question paper, Result.

The system which is used now days has some drawbacks which need to be improved for better performance.

The system through which the feedback is taken is not good enough. The views of each and every students
are not expressed through these systems. As the technology is developed day by day we need to use this
technology so we can get an efficient result in adequate for college notice or assignments in the present
system all work is done on paper. The whole notice are display on the notice board. If any students are
absents it very hard to read this notice or etc. students are not updated daily so this effect is from study. It
requires lot of papers work and is time consuming. Moreover ,there is no system still present through which
students can take advice from senior students college cannot even provide urgent notifications to students in
case of emergency
II.2Proposed System:
The system architecture has a smart phone with android OS, a web service, a database server and the user as
its components. The android smart phone must use 3G or Wi-Fi network for internet connectivity to ensure
better performance however 2G should also satisfy user request with added disadvantage of time lag. The
user will login to the application through android smart phones. The user type is verified with database
server and access is given to the appropriate user. the web application also can be used to login and perform
certain operation such as registration of users and the android application on success data from a common
database server through the internet. Its includes staff profile with there Photos. It include MAP of college. It
also includes College Gallery.

II. IMPLEMENTATION
III.1 Problem Definition:
To develop a mobile application that will help you receiving the notices from the college,
anywhere, anytime. Earlier their was problem that notices were posted on notice board. If there is holiday on
the next day, nobody will be able to read it.
Moreover any update on website is also very difficult. Everyone feels lazy to go and update the website
data. The more easy way is, just type in message sitting wherever and post by pressing a button.
It will notify all the and students, registered with the that application. And will access easily and get direct
print through this application. All the messages will get directly. And in this all authority of controlling this
app is centralized to website and it is it will be handled by admin.
III.2 Modules Description
In this there are three modules:
a. Admin
b. Staff
c. Students
a. Admin:
In this MYSQL is used to create PHP MYADMIN and through PHP MYADMIN , ADMIN panel is created
and in admin panel it consist of staff &student dashboard and subject allocation for staff and subject
allocation for student and change password. This feedback can be reviewed by the admin or the management
committee of the institute through which the confidentiality of the feedback of the faculty can be maintained.
b. Staff:

In this staff can logged in by using user_id and password In this the staff can add all the notices and have
authority lower than the admin and can take all the students attendance and in this staff can consist his own
profile pic and all his qualification, experience and all professional information etc .and in this he can add all
photos regarding extra curriculums held in college. If he has some problems regarding user id and password
he can contact to the admin directly staff has more authority than students.
c. Student :
In this students will be logged in by his user_id and password. In this student can view all information about
college. in this students will have their profile and they can view notices and when notice is sent it will give
notification that notice is sent. And student can view their attendance and also they can view all the
academic calendar and can view all professional information about staff and see photo gallery and will
contact admin and when student want to change password he or she should contact admin.

An Android based mobile application for collage management system is presented. The application
offers reliability, time saving and easy control. It can be used as a base for creating and enhancing
application for viewing results, notice, assignment, events or any work place students. Also students can
view detail, notification anywhere and anytime. The application will greatly simplify and speed up the
result preparation and management process. It includes advertisement of the collage thus satisfying the
marketing criteria to showcase its facilities to the SSC and HSC students. It provides high security and a
system that reduce the work and resources required in traditional process. The proposed system
provides the new ways of computing and displaying an operation with responsive and attractive user
interface.
