The SAP Cloud Appliance Library (CAL) allows customers to quickly deploy and use SAP solutions in the cloud. With SAP CAL, customers can deploy SAP ERP, SAP HANA, and SAP CRM systems within minutes, rather than the weeks or months typically required for on-premise installations. SAP CAL provides preconfigured and pretested SAP software solutions that run on virtual machines in public clouds. Customers use SAP CAL for a variety of purposes including proofs of concept, development activities, training, and moving DEV/QA systems to the cloud.
