1. GitLab GitHub

2. Go www.gitlab.com and login

3. If you don’t have an account register here

4. Create New Project

5. Name of your project.

6. Copy the URL of your project

7. Search GitHub Desktop in google search engine Click the first Link

8. Click the download button. After finished Install it.

9. For this you must have a GitHub account from www.github. com You have to sign in your GitHub account for this. Ans. Because it’s a GitHub software so you must login by their login info. Cool ! ? Q. Why I need to sign in by GitHub? You said we can use GitLab by this! [P.s] If you don’t have any GitHub account go create too its take maximum 2 mins. -_-

10. So sign in by GitHub account info.

11. Click to continue.

12. Just click the damn finish button. :p

13. You are done.

14. Next click clone a repository.

15. Go URL tab.

16. Remember the URL you copied earlier?

17. Paste here. Next Choose the directory where you want to clone. Finally click to clone button.

18. If your repository is private then it will ask for username and password. In here you have to give your GitLab username and password.

19. Congrats, you successfully cloned your GitLab project by GitHub Desktop

20. See? Its cloned right?

21. You can add new file or make change inside this folder.

22. You will notice our desktop apps also show notification in changes tabs. That means cloned file have been changed you can commit. Make commit from here

23. Make good commit title. Description is optional here.

24. Click Publish branch button.

25. It will take time. Depends on you file size.

26. Taaa Daaa!!!!! You are done. Check you GitLab account if you want to make sure
