Grid computing links together clusters of computers and devices to share processing power and resources. Wireless grids extend this by connecting wireless devices. There are different types of wireless grids including fixed wireless grids with static devices, mobile wireless grids with dynamic devices like phones and laptops, and sensor network grids. Integrating mobile devices into grids presents challenges due to low bandwidth, unreliable connections, and limited device resources. However, wireless grids could utilize the large number of distributed wireless devices and resources.
