A pool side idea turned into a brand. Our brand is designed and developed at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) through SCADpro program. Felix Rex was not born in a typical studio, it was born out of collaboration, creativity, and challenge at one of the world’s top design institutions: Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). From day one, our mission was bold: to redefine fit in men’s sportswear and bring size inclusivity to the forefront of luxury fashion. And we knew we couldn’t do it alone. So we turned to the best, a dynamic team of SCAD students and an incredible faculty mentor Denis Antoine to help build this brand from the ground up. What followed was a year-long journey of research, experimentation, and innovation. The SCAD team helped shape: 👕 Our sizing philosophy 📏 The creation of ROYAL Sizing 🎨 Product designs that combine performance with elegance 🧠 A brand identity rooted in inclusivity and modern masculinity Felix Rex wouldn’t exist without SCAD. SCADpro partnered with Sherwin-Williams to curate The Colors of Savannah—a collection of palettes that reflect the city’s essence through carefully selected hues. 🎨 From in-depth #research to the final presentation, students explored Savannah’s architectural landmarks, cultural influences, and natural landscapes to create a resource that brings history to life through color. SCADpro x Provost Studios: Designing the Future of Fanfare Experiences At SCADpro, innovation goes beyond the studio—our students don’t just research and ideate; they experience. This winter quarter, in collaboration with PROVOST STUDIO, SCADpro students embarked on an electrifying journey into the heart of fanfare culture, immersing themselves in the energy, passion, and spectacle of a NASCAR race. By stepping into the fan experience firsthand, they gained deep, real-world insights into what makes live events so thrilling. From the roar of the engines to the collective excitement in the stands, this field trip wasn’t just about watching—it was about feeling the pulse of the crowd, observing engagement patterns, and understanding what captivates audiences at such a massive scale. These insights are now fueling their work with Provost Studios, where they are designing cutting-edge fan engagement experiences that will shape the future of live events.
