Pacific Life was honored to host three days of events for Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA), including the Plan Sponsor Institute (PSI) Round Table, DCIIA Innovation Forum, and the Retirement Research Center (RRC) Summit. Pacific Life’s Lee Freitag, CRPS™ was a featured panelist at the RRC event, discussing retirement income and considerations for the QDIA. This was Pacific Life’s second consecutive year hosting the Innovation Forum. The event was attended by more than 400 DCIIA members and guests who met in Newport Beach to hear valuable insights from industry thought leaders, discuss innovative approaches to fuel the industry, and explore ways to drive better retirement outcomes for participants. As part of this year’s keynote, Pacific Life’s Karen Neeley, Michael Oler, and Chris Stout introduced The Power of… research study, including "The Power of Tracking,” which is the first in a series of three papers. The initiative is a collaboration between Pacific Life, Michael Finke, and David Harry Stewart with AGEIST, which explores how self-tracking behaviors can significantly impact employee mindset, influence workplace excellence, and improve retirement outcomes. In addition to the forum, we were proud to celebrate this year's Leader and Rising Star honorees, which included Pacific Life’s Jennifer Wing and Kristin Brooks, who were honored as a 2024 Leader and 2024 Rising Star, respectively.
