Its goal is to develop cutting-edge diagnostic methods, enable early detection of cancer and neurological diseases, and advance biobanking – all with a focus on more effective treatment and improved quality of life for patients. “Our city has a real opportunity to become a central hub of health innovation. 🚀 P4Health Project officially launched! We are entering a new era in medical diagnostics! Łukasiewicz - PORT has been awarded €15 million under the Teaming for Excellence program to support this strategic project. 💶✨ The goal of P4Health is to develop personalized medicine concepts in oncology and neuroscience, and implement them in everyday medical practice. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, the medicine of the future will offer tailored therapies based on the individual needs of patients. By analyzing biological material from patients, we will create individualized treatments using the latest in biomedical engineering. 🧬⚕️ On February 18, we inaugurated the project at our institute, welcoming partners from from CERBM in Strasbourg and King's College London. The following day, February 19, we hosted a joint ceremony at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, marking the launch of three new projects under the Teaming for Excellence initiative in Poland. 🎉🌍 Łukasiewicz – PORT will coordinate the Centre of Excellence in Precision Phenotyping and BioBanking Data (P4Health), which will be established in Wrocław.
