Making even better use of production data by creating joint transparency 📈 This is precisely the approach of our 𝗠𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 service and was the topic of the presentation that Timo Frankl, our Head of Sales Global Digitalization and Digital Services, was invited to give at the 𝗩𝗟𝗕 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 of the Technical-Scientific Committee. The VLB is a registered association that was founded in 1883 by the brewing and malting industry in Berlin with the aim of promoting science and vocational training in the field of brewing, the beverage industry and biotechnology. And so it inevitably also deals a lot with the future of filling and packaging technology. As we do, too: we are tackling the challenges of the future with continuous innovation. Our presentation showed how we significantly increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and maximise the efficiency of production processes through targeted measures and innovative technologies. It was an honour for us to share our concept behind the MSA Performance at this event. From kangaroos to glass and can lines 🦘🏭 Hi, I'm Selina and as Delivery Automation Engineer at SYSKRON, I'm part of the #KronesDigital community and responsible for setting up our Line Management system. For a customer project, I spent seven months in Australia and was in charge of the automation of all machines along the customer's production line. ⬇️ Here are some insights into the experiences I gathered during this time. 👨👩👧👦 One of the biggest advantages was the team on site. Everyone supported each other as much as possible, especially when homesickness struck. I lived with a few colleagues for a while and we often sat together in the evenings, cooking and enjoying each other's company. 🏄 Of course, I took the opportunity to explore Australia - with hikes, kayaking, surfing, diving, city trips, attending rugby games, shopping, partying, and beach days. Some special memories that I will take with me from my time in Australia include watching the sunrise at Bare Rock Main Range National Park, admiring the underwater art gallery at the Great Barrier Reef, and having a girls' weekend with my cousin in Melbourne for the Australian Open women's finals. 🥇 My personal highlight was definitely participating in the Australian National Handball Championships and winning the gold medal. After my arrival, I quickly realised that I wanted to pursue my passion for handball here too. Being able to celebrate such a great success was something very special that I will always remember. 🎢 I learned a lot during this time - about myself, our machines, our work methods, and our potential. I had the opportunity to try out my own ideas, test them, and bring them to life. Every day brought new challenges, some of which were not easy and pushed me to my limits, but it was great to see the progress of my work. 💭 Do you also dream of combining work and travelling the world? The Informatik Campus BSZ Wiesau has been educating students in the field of IT for more than 40 years. In addition to providing the tools needed for a successful career start, the aim is also to give students insights into the professional world. For this reason, a job and internship fair has been organised where students can get in touch with different companies on their campus. The perfect opportunity for us to inspire and attract young, passionate talent who share our interest in IT. So, last week, Julia Vogtmann, HR Generalist, and Dominik Buchfelder, Head of Plant Applications, not only interacted with students at our booth, but also gave a presentation. Hey students, are you passionate about the world of IT? 👩💻 We recently took part in two events in Pilsen dedicated to inspiring and guiding young people on their way into the professional world. At the Open Door Day at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Western Bohemian University Západočeská univerzita v Plzni (ZČU) we met with dozens of future and current university students. Our experts from Konplan s.r.o. showed who we are, why it's a good idea to focus on IT fields and that it's also possible to start working with us during studies - through internships, scholarships or temporary / part-time jobs. On February 13, more than 500 students visited our booth at the Career Fair on Training College and Secondary School of Electrical Engineering. It was great to bring our community closer to such a large number of students.
