Developing the next generation of modern biomedical leaders through experiential learning and educational programming.
About us
JAX Genomic Education (GE) offers integrated, inclusive and increasingly digital teaching and learning experiences focused on the intersection of complex genetics, genomics, computational biology and bioinformatics. We recruit diverse cohorts of learners to our experiential programming for exceptional hands-on research training. The GE team takes a holistic approach to program development, combining conceptual education with the science communications, collaboration, translational and skills training required to succeed in modern scientific and clinical settings. Our programs accelerate the development of high school, undergraduate, postbaccalaureate, graduate and postdoctoral learners who are focused on careers in the biomedical sciences. JAX courses and workshops serve those same audiences in addition to clinicians, research assistants, scientists, lab technicians and science teachers.
