Thanks to Ajoy Chakrabarti for leading an engaging conversation on polio vaccines with our visitors! Join us Thursdays 2-3pm for a guided tour of our galleries followed by a chat with Gates Foundation staff about their work and the work of our partners.
Photo from my "Staff Chat" last week at the Gates Foundation Discovery Center. The chat is the last stop on the public tour of the Center, where we talk for a few minutes about our work and then answer questions. The "Iron Lung" beside me was selected as an appropriate backdrop to talk about Polio vaccines. Lots of questions from the audience across a range of topics; several people had good knowledge of the Polio eradication effort.
