We’re actively looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our client’s team in Sunnyvale, CA on a W2 contract (no C2C). This is a long-term opportunity (12+ months) with a focus on building scalable, distributed systems and impactful accessibility tools.

🔧 Key Skills & Responsibilities:

• Strong experience with large-scale distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• Design and develop microservices using Java/J2EE and RESTful services
• Solid hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with source control (Git, ClearCase) and issue tracking tools (JIRA)
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Collaborate with the Accessibility team to build and maintain impactful tools
• Work in an Agile development environment, contributing to both tech and business decisions

• Genuine 7+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving
