Van & Contents Stolen.

Your Assistance is required:

On Thursday evening 18th January my Brother had his van stolen from the Titanic Hotel car park in Liverpool whilst attended an AC & ventilation awards evening there. This hotel car park has controlled entry/exit, CCTV & even a security guard, but some how the thieves amazingly went under the radar, drilled out the cylinder, drilled out the ignition, overcome the immobilizer & scrolling key code and fled the car park in the van undetected - not a 5 minute job!

With the power of multi media (Face book lost & found) we were able to locate this van yesterday evening, but unfortunately all the tools & contents had been removed including his laptop with personal information on it that can't be replaced. The most of these tools are specialist tools required for the job with the exception of drills & grinders. The thieves either knew what they were targeting or haven't got a clue & will probably throw most the equipment they don't understand.

I know some of you are probably thinking silly man for leaving his tools & laptop in his van, but lessons have now been learnt the hard way.

This is were your assistance is required, we want to make these tools too hot to handle so the thieves can't sell them on. So if your business resides in the Merseyside or Manchester area & you are offered any cheap specialist air conditioning tools, Ryobi drills or Makita grinders etc, can you please report them to the police.

There is a £2000.00 reward for the safe return of these tools & most importantly the laptop PC, tools can be replaced but family photo's can't.
