Two Lead Oracle Functional Analyst – Finance or Order Management Applications (Permanent placement)

About the Opportunity:

For one of our clients in the south of The Netherlands we are hiring two Senior Oracle Functional Analysts, one specializing in Finance Applications and the other in Order Management Applications. Both positions play a key role in driving the success of our Oracle ERP solutions through business engagement, functional design, solution configuration, and ongoing support.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional IT teams, business stakeholders, and developers to translate complex requirements into scalable, effective ERP solutions—either in the Finance or Order Management/Supply Chain vertical.

Key Responsibilities (Applicable to Both Roles):

• Manage end-to-end business analysis including requirement gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and functional documentation.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, configuration documents, use cases, and system designs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, clarify, and prioritize functional requirements.
• Work alongside technical teams during the development cycle to ensure requirements are properly interpreted and delivered.
• Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met within timelines and budget.
• Query and analyze application data schemas to validate solutions and perform root-cause analysis.
• Lead or contribute to functional testing, UAT support, and end-user training.
• Maintain compliance with system governance and security requirements.
• May lead small teams or act as a functional lead on implementation/enhancement projects.

Specialization – Finance Applications. If applying for the Finance track, your focus will include:

• Oracle modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Projects.
• Knowledge of finance localization requirements, especially in the EU region.
• Supporting end-to-end record-to-report, procure-to-pay, and project accounting processes.

 Specialization – Order Management Applications. If applying for the Order Management track, your focus will include:

• Oracle modules: Order Management, Oracle Pricing, Inventory Management, Global Order Promising, Shipping, and Trading Partner Architecture (TPA).
• Deep understanding of order-to-cash and supply chain execution processes.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP, including functional configuration and creating extensions where needed.
• Involvement in 2–3 full-cycle implementations is a strong plus.

Candidate Profile

• We are seeking highly motivated, collaborative professionals with a mix of business acumen, ERP expertise, and functional analysis capabilities. Ideal candidates will bring:
• A bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field; a master’s or Oracle certification is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in Oracle ERP environments as a consultant, system analyst, or business partner.
• Deep functional knowledge of Oracle ERP Applications (based on your chosen specialization).
• Strong understanding of core business processes in Finance or Supply Chain/Order Management.
• Experience with SQL queries, functional testing, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or support end-to-end ERP projects, from scoping through to deployment and support.
• Ability to thrive in global organizations and work across cultures and time zones; international travel up to 10% may be required.
• Excellent communication skills—able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate complex concepts clearly.
• Leadership traits including initiative, team coordination, and possibly mentoring junior staff.
