Is there another woman you consider a hero? Who is she, and why is she your hero?
One woman I consider a hero is my family friend who inspired me to switch careers. She showed me that it's never too late to follow my passions and reinvent myself. Her courage to take risks, her unwavering support, and her ability to lead with both heart and determination have been a guiding light in my journey. She proved that success isn't just about skill — it's about resilience, adaptability, and the willingness to keep learning. She is the reason I applied for my first role here at Gaylord National.

What is the greatest lesson you've learned in your career? How did it change or shape you?
The greatest lesson I've learned in my career is that growth happens outside of your comfort zone. Making the leap to a new field was daunting, but it taught me that discomfort is often a sign of progress. I learned to trust myself, embrace uncertainty, and lean into challenges rather than shy away from them. This shift in mindset shaped me into a more confident, resourceful, and open-minded professional.
What words of wisdom or encouragement would you share with aspiring leaders?
Leadership isn’t about having all the answers — it’s about being willing to learn, to listen, and to uplift others along the way. Surround yourself with people who challenge and inspire you, and never underestimate the impact of mentorship and community.
Most importantly, believe in your ability to evolve, because the greatest leaders are those who never stop growing.
