The TRUTH ABOUT PLANNED PARENTHOOD (And its racist past.)

By Ken Simmons

Most are unaware of the history of Planned Parenthood and its founder Margaret Sanger. In this article we will uncover who Sanger was, and her final end (see below). But first, let's take a look at the organization known as Planned Parenthood. The average American believes that organization helps women in pregnancy planning, but the truth reveals that Planned Parenthood's primary function is the abortion of unborn children. They provide more abortions than any organization in the world.

Many pro-life Christians have concerns about protesting a *Planned Parenthood facility, especially since the laws in many cities are not clear on this issue, and the fear of repercussions is real. However, those laws have recently changed, and the 1st Amendment guarantees us the right to state our grievances, and even to protest against wrong.

For those of us who are pro-life we need to have the courage to come against the work of Planned Parenthood, an organization that is responsible for more abortions every year than anything else. They continue to do this as they "fight for the right to kill the unborn."

However, Californians who are protesting in front of a Planned Parenthood facility are protected under the First Amendment, which allows for free speech and free assembly.

Many would like to speak out against Planned Parenthood but they have images of being hauled off in handcuffs for protesting an abortion clinic, but so long as you respect the privacy and the space of anyone you encounter, you should be okay. I put in the “should be” phrase, because this is a highly divisive, and often explosive, issue, and emotions run high with both those who oppose, and those who defend, abortion. All too often, what started as a peaceful protest, ends up being a dangerous confrontation that got out of control. Sometimes people end up in handcuffs, while others have ended up in hospitals following these confrontations.

Those of us who believe abortion is against the laws of God, find ourselves struggling with the desire to speak out against abortion, but at the same time are concerned about being attacked over it.

Except in rare situations the law provides us some protections if we dare to go ahead with our desire to protest. When we engage in our 1st Amendment rights to protest these facilities, at least in California, we have protections. This does not, however, mean that we are always free from prosecution, as sometimes authorities are ignorant of our legal rights, and we end up having to defend ourselves in the courts.

California law allows protesting in front of a Planned Parenthood facility, so long as the protestor does not break any other laws in the process. This means that the protestor must do so peacefully, fully respecting the privacy and space of the other party. It further means that you can’t put your hands on, threaten, or badger anyone during your protest.

*Planned Parenthood. Many mistakenly believe that organization simply provides consultation for pregnant women, which it does, but their primary function, during the last year statistics were available for Planned Parenthood, it was responsible for 392,715 abortions, and when abortions are tallied by all other means, between 609,000 to 613,000, abortions occur each year in America.

Another staggering number shows that approximately 65.4 million abortions have been performed in the United States since 1973 when they began keeping statistics on this issue.

------

*Margaret Sanger was born in 1916, and early on she became a radical advocate for abortion. She was the founder of Planned Parenthood, largely because of her desire to eliminate the Negro race, by means of (her words), “the gradual suppression, elimination and eventual extinction, of defective stocks — those human weeds which threaten the blooming of the finest flowers of American civilization.” In plain language, Sanger’s description of Negroes as “human weeds, and defective stocks” says all that’s necessary to understand her racist views about black people.

Word of caution for those who admire Sanger as the founder of Planned Parenthood, her rabid racism should give you second thoughts about this woman.
