Phileo: the art of the sprint

Phileo: the art of the sprint

The founder of the shoe brand Philéo Paris, Philéo Landowski, has an impressive entrepreneurial journey for his age (and I wish I had the same energy!). He has already launched three companies, the latest being Philéo Paris, which aims to revolutionize the sneaker market by offering an architectural vision of the sports shoe, with exaggerated and minimalist shapes, produced in a socially and environmentally responsible way (nothing less than that!).

The brand is exclusively available in the most exclusive sales points on the planet, including Dover Street Market, and is extremely popular with Generation Z.

Landowski, who comes from a family of collectors and artists, was inspired by Phoebe Philo's minimalist aesthetic at Céline (where he had a short experience at the studio) and developed a creative approach that plays with technical limitations to create recognizable shoes with visible seams and threads.

He happens to know a thing or two about shoes... Did you know that a pair of shoes lasts between 200 and 800 km of walking distance according to its fabrication?

The brand is committed to sustainability and transparency in terms of production, recyclability, and supply chain. The collections are unisex and timeless, sometimes in collaboration with contemporary artists, such as Florence Cosnefroy at Dover Street Market Ginza (Tokyo).

Oh, Landowski is also an artistic consultant for the sports brand Salomon. Cherry on the cake, despite being the busiest guy on planet Fashion (yes, he does everything by himself), he has a smile and some time for anyone coming to him. Phileo means sincere and tender love in ancient Greek. Maybe there is a relationship.
