Merry Christmas My Dear

Merry Christmas My Dear

Is there an owl in the house?

No, that's my stomach.

There's an owl in your stomach?

No that's hunger. It sounds like an owl when I'm hungry.

Oh, good thing there isn't an owl in here, that would be terrible.

Is it terrible that I'm hungry?

Oh, I'm sorry dear, let's get the baby something to eat.

Our baby isn't hungry, I am.

Dear, you know I'm calling you baby. Why are you so sensitive?

Sensitive? What is going on right now? I'm just hungry is all.

"Is all?" When did you start talking like a Gen Z from Jersey?

But, I am from Jersey.

Oh, I'm sorry dear. Was trying to say something funny and was accurate by mistake.

How did we get here?

"Siri, play Deborah Cox!"

No, No...ok...wait...never mind. I'll just make some cereal.

Christmas does weird things.

Today is Christmas?

No, it's Owl Day.

That was funny.

Well, took me long enough.

Merry Christmas dear.

Merry Christmas baby.

I immediately shared this story because that is exactly what happening with us - all the time. This morning, let's get something to eat. I am really hungry. No, let's go to the grocery store first. My solution was getting a piece of pineapple while shopping. Merry Christmas my friend to you and your family!
