How Inspiring Women are Changing the World and Workplace
March is for all the inspiring women changing the world and their workplace. How are you celebrating?
For me, celebrating the women leaders around me isn't for a specific month or a national holiday. Female leaders deserve recognition every day.
Becoming a badass is about owning who you are. Knowing the constraints on women in the workplace and saying “I’m going to do it anyway.”
Take a look around your workplace now. How many of your counterparts are female? Some of us may be able to answer with more than a few names, while others may not have any names to mention at all. But even a room with one female matters. That is still a change worth celebrating.
Women, it’s your turn.
In my time working in male-dominated industries, I have realized a few things about most of the women around me. They bring a unique perspective. They are resilient. They are empathetic. They are visionaries who believe in themselves and others to reach their goals and do great things.
They take ownership, collaborate well with others, and have an innate ability to nurture relationships.

Not all women measure success solely in their workplace, and that’s worth celebrating too. Some women measure success in their personal lives. They find that being a leader in their family or other communities and organizations is the most fulfilling. Success looks different for everyone, but inspiring and badass women show up to support each no matter what goals they are going after.
