Wesley Wang, a 19 year old Harvard student is set to become the youngest director with a major studio deal. His 13 minute short film titled nothing, except everything. has gone viral with 4.3 million views in just 7 months and caught the eye of filmmaker Darren Aronofsky.
Mona, kid’s show puppet gets a brand sponsorship
Mona, the viral puppet from the Canadian kids show Nanalan’, has scored herself a brand sponsorship with Beloved beauty brand. So far, the Instagram reel has 190k views and TikTok with 70k views.
🔥 My hot take: Get that bag Mona! Less human influencers, more puppet marketing please.

12moI always love your Friday Faves Chris. As a film lover I was drawn to the short film. Such a powerful piece (also my choice is 7!) and great story about the discovery by Aronofsky. Thank goodness the world is out of the old studio system so that talent can more easily come to the fore. Thanks again for sharing!
