D365BC Wave 1 2022: Log emails using a shared mailbox and Graph API

Hello there, Dynamics 365 Lovers!

Have you read about the new email logging features of Dynamics 365 Business Central?

A business must track email exchanges between salespeople and existing or potential customers in order to turn them into actionable opportunities. As a result, Business Central collaborated with Microsoft Exchange Online to maintain a log of inbound and outbound messages.

Microsoft added a new feature in the 2022 release wave 1 which streamlined the processes for setting up email logging to increase flexibility and security. If you are a new customer using that version, you are experiencing the new update. However, if you are an existing customer, it is completely reliant on whether your administrator has enabled the Email logging using the Microsoft Graph API feature update.

Let’s now take a look in these new configurations.

To begin, you must enable the new feature on the Feature Management page. So, please select the icon , navigate to Feature Management, and then select the related link.
