Better Work, Better World at 70: PI celebrates a milestone anniversary

This year, the Predictive Index celebrates its 70th anniversary, marking seven decades of applying behavioral science to help organizations align talent and business strategy. Founded in 1955, PI has evolved from paper-based assessments to a comprehensive Talent Optimization platform. PI now serves over 10,000 clients globally and boasts over 5.7 million Behavioral Assessments completed in 2024 alone. With recent acquisitions and product launches like PI Perform, PI continues to innovate and expand its impact on workplace performance, earning industry accolades for its technology and remote-first culture.

In an era where every business is a people business, leadership has emerged as a competitive differentiator. In their new book Essential: How Distributed Teams, Generative AI, and Global Shifts Are Creating a New Human-Powered Leadership, authors Christie Smith Ph.D and Kelly Monahan, Ph.D. explore why and how this is so.
