Call for Proposals: Pangborn 2025 Sensometrics Tutorials

The Sensometric Society in collaboration with the Pangborn 2025 will organize sensometrics tutorials before the conference.

The call for proposals is currently open for tutorial submission that address the following topics:

• Multivariate data analysis in sensory and consumer research
• Text analysis for sensory and consumer scientists
• Applications of machine learning / artificial intelligence
• Product optimization and drivers of liking analysis
• Data visualisation and interpretation

The tutorials should have a duration of 3 to 4 hours, for an audience of sensory and consumer scientists interested in the analysis of data using sensometric methods.

The authors should emphasize the following primary elements when submitting tutorials:

• Background of tutorials
• Proficiency of participants, for example, fundamental or intermediate statistical understanding; whether or not to carry a laptop
• The tutorials may be instructed by a maximum of three individuals, each of whom will be granted a complimentary registration charge for the conference and gala dinner

The deadline for tutorial submission is January 31, 2025
